The company was founded by a gentleman called Karl Dahlman, back in 1964 when he invented the first hover lawnmower, inspired by Sir Christopher Cockerell’s hovercraft, and the company’s popularity has increased since it became part of Husqvarna AB, a Swedish company with an excellent reputation for customer satisfaction and service. Over the years the range of Flymo Lawnmowers has increased as demand for new and improved products has also increased.
Flymo Lawnmowers fall basically into 2 categories, the hover lawnmower and the wheeled lawnmower and it is a matter of personal choice as both types essentially do the same job.
